There’s excitement in the air already! This year’s Gympie Chamber of Commerce Business Awards – Presented by Gympie Community (Bendigo) Bank – are being held on Saturday, September 16. Click here to add it to your diary!
There will be drinks flowing, gorgeous food, rocking entertainment and of course, a huge celebration of Gympie’s finest and brightest. We are still deciding on a theme for the night… Head over to Facebook and let us know what you think it should be this year! We will choose a theme that proves popular with the comments.
Nominations are open as of June 1 and close June 31st 2017. You can nominate as many businesses as you like, for as many suitable categories as you like! (Please remember, however, that nominations are not votes, so there is no need to nominate the same business for a category more than once)
The Categories for this year are:
- Business of the Year
- Small Business of the Year
- New Business of the Year
- Entrepreneur of the Year
- Tourism Award
- Customer Service Award
- Marketing Campaign of the Year
- Educational Institution of the year
- Not for Profit Business of the Year
And of course, People’s Choice which will be open once the finalists have been announced.
Nominated businesses will have 3 weeks (21 days) to tender their submissions for shortlisting, and in mid-august will be interviewed by our independent judges, with final announcements due at the end of August!
This is an exciting time to be in business in Gympie, and we are thrilled to bring to you an incredible night to celebrate all that we are in this hub of excellence.
