Could your business provide a sponsorship to a USC Gympie student to support them in their studies?

Financial support helps to encourage academic excellence and provide the security needed for many students to reach their full potential. A scholarship or bursary also gives students freedom to focus on their study without working excessive hours.
Scholarships and bursaries aren’t just for high academic achievers or those who are struggling financially. They’re also available for students demonstrating sporting achievement or community activity such as volunteering, fundraising or taking on a leadership role.

Donors have the satisfaction of knowing their contribution is helping a student to reach their full potential through education. Providing quality tertiary education opportunities also helps to build connections with regional business and industry groups, contributes to the local economy and helps keep the best and brightest students connected to the community. Donors are acknowledged on the USC website, receive updates about their recipients and have the opportunity to meet students and staff at USC events.

Donation amounts start at $500. There are three types of awards you can donate to:

  • Scholarship: Based on academic merit, financial need, leadership or community activities
  • Bursary: Awarded to a student of good academic standing and based on financial need
  • Prize: Awarded to a student to recognise specific academic achievement

Our community as a whole benefits from focused, educated youth.  Support a student and the community through your business and help make a difference.  For further information, follow this link to the USC Student Support overview (Gympie) download.
